Saks Fitfth Avenue:
The elegant writing of this piece looks very 'fine' and 'expensive' which reflects the names that make up the number three.

Michael Gericke:
The simplicity and colour of these images caught my attention, and I think that they would work well at any scale.

DJ Stout:
Below I have picked out 2 of DJ Stout's work, which I think are really interesting.
The 'Dairy Today' cover has really good colours. With the black and white, reflecting the cow, and the pastel blue and red work well with it. Making the black pop.
The Marlboro cigarette packet is really clever, and has kept to the law of no colourful advertising and keeping the type and product purely black and white.
The writing on the packet is the view of the majority of smokers. The packets today all have the graphic images on them, but still people buy them and don't care, regardless of what is says or what is shown on the packet.

Seb Jarnot: Graphic Illustrator
Below are a few examples of work that I really like.
The first is a Jeffery Koons portrait, done for the financial times. The added lines of colour brings the portrait more life and character.
The 4 images below are CD covers. The bright yellow/orange/red stands out, as does the black, white and red image at the bottom.
The simple hand drawn line drawings are really interesting to look at and imaginative.

Drew Millward:
Leeds based designer. His designs are seen on posters, album covers and flyers.
I like the bold images he produces using a thick marker pen and the bright colours that really stand out.
